Presonus does not support Vista OS with Audiobox USB, therefore they will not assist. Tech support suggests I post to find a potential solution.
I need audiobox usb divers for my Vista operating system. Has anyone solved this problem?

Vista drivers have always been available on the products download page:
http://www.presonus.com/products/AudioBox-USB/downloads
It's only the current drivers that do not support Vista.
That being said, we can help you better now and in the future with a bit more info...if you will post your system specs in your signature, (see my sig), we will be better able to troubleshoot your problems. Without knowing what type of pc you're running, what OS you're using, what DAW etc..we often can't recommend a 'simple fix'

Hi, I'm new to this forum, as well, and I'm also having problems downloading drivers and the Studio One. I kept getting the message 'VERSION. dll not found' when I would try to install the audiobox. Appreciate any help

It could be any number of things. Have you optimized your pc for audio production?
Have you disabled wi-fi? Are you plugged into a USB2 or USB3 port? Did you install the drivers
from the included disc? Or did you download and use the drivers from this site? The disc that shipped with you Audiobox does NOT support Vista. You'll need these:

Yeah, I found out the hard way you can't use the disc that comes with it. I found the page that explains how to completely remove all audiobox software off the computer.
I'm gonna try it again, using the particular download you suggested. As far as I know all my usb ports are the same and they are all 2.0. I'm going to use one of the ports next to the power input, maybe it's the best one :/ I'll post my results

Well, I followed the recommendations; saved the download to my desktop, turned off wifi connection, turned off security programs, installed, and got error window: 'CNE730D.tmp- unable to complete installation because VERSION.dll not found' . I guess I can't use the studio one 3 artist software either, oldest OS listed is windows 7. I'm disappointed with presonus so far, didn't know I would have to purchase another computer just to use this interface. They need to let their vendors know that unless you've got a brand new computer, you won't have nothing but grief with this product.

My Presonus gear runs better on even OLDER XP machines than on Vista. It also runs just fine on Win7. So no, you don't need a brand new computer with the latest OS. But you just MIGHT benefit from upgrading your ancient machine to Win7. A reformat and clean OS install can do wonders.

I read the same on an archived post thread, the software doesn't seem to mesh well with the Vista OS for some reason. That's something I'll look into for sure.
Is the older versions of Studio 1 Artist (v1 or 2) still available or have they been phased out? Course, if I upgrade my OS to Win 7 I could use the current version. That may be my best option, then. Be nice if the listed 'system requirements' for both current products made note of that.

It's not just S1...Vista was just not a good OS for multimedia in general. Many users of other audio & video programs reported problems with it. As to an older version of S1 Artist..if you had a copy and registered it you should be able to download it directly from your 'My Presonus' account.
